​Houshar Ranch is a newly established Golf Club in the Heart of Olivenhain



It’s easy.  Just grab your short irons and head out to Houshar Ranch Golf Club.  Placed in a beautiful setting surrounded by horses and acres of open land, this challenging 9 hole course located in Encinitas, has your number.  Houshar Ranch will make your golf experience like no other.  Whether you're teeing off over the large duck filled pond or navigating a tee shot through the 70 foot palms, Houshar Ranch has challenges on every hole.

 The course has been tested by some of the top local players in the area and has received outstanding reviews.  You will be teeing off from one of 9 tee boxes anywhere from 69 to 86 yards, targeting a 2,600 square foot green with 6 pin placements.  Hole 1, "Jac", named after the beautiful Jacaranda Tree that shades the tee box, was the first and only hole built back in 2006.  On hole 4, named "The Island", you will be teeing off 86 yards over a duck filled pond and Beautiful Fountain, 70 foot palm trees and an orange grove on your left.  At the 9th Hole, named "Bird", you will be surrounded by giant birds of paradise, hitting slightly uphill into the gusty winds from the West and in the afternoon, directly into the sun.  Bring your shades!  With 2 sand bunkers guarding the front of the green and no room to go long on the approach shots,  you better bring your "A game".
